This position of Software Developer is a role which requires a mature approach to prioritizing tasks with meeting deadlines.
Our Philippines headquarters are based in Laguna, with the position reporting directly to our based in Sydney head office Australia.
YOU WILL:
? Bachelor’s degree or higher
? Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
? Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of people in various contexts
? Ability to use initiative to identify and implement improvements to processes and/or environments
? Ability to undertake research using a variety of appropriate techniques
? Sound conceptual, analytical and problems solving skills
? Work both independently and collaboratively in a creative and agile team
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
? Learn to apply your skills in an ERP environment
? Learn new technologies and apply your knowledge to customer solutions
? Learn to design and develop solutions for the business
? Learn to build and sustain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders and clients and anticipate and be responsive to client and stakeholder needs and expectations
? Be supported and coached by experience team members
? Experience in VB.Net, unit testing and applying existing standards and change and release management practices is desirable
? Experience in writing stored procedures, views, functions using SQL Server is desirable
? Experience in designing and developing reports and dashboards using SSRS and Crystal reports is desirable
? Liaise with other IT Team Members to assist in the optimization of query and databases
? Build working relationships within the business and team members through the use of effective communication skills and analyze business requirements to provide design guidance and advice
? Be proactive in terms of identifying potential problems and possible solutions to those problems in an open and collaborative manner
? Build all developments using the standards and practices supported by the department and thoroughly document developments in a manner that allows for an understanding of the components of developments by both technical and non-technical staff
? Actively develop, implement, and maintain standards, guidelines and knowledge base articles for installation, administration and support while ensuring compliance to change control processes, relevant industry standards, government, and departmental policies
? Exposure to data processing, enterprise software application, and outsourced systems is desirable
? Good understanding of software systems, features, and outsourced technologies
KEY RESPONSIBILITY, STRATEGY & PLANNING:
? Contribute ideas to the ERP design and development
? Contribute to the departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures
? Identify and communicate risks associate with the ERP system
