Job Responsibilities
• Layout and construct game environments to include establishing pacing, flow, and points of interest and exploration.
• Collaborate with developers to create and seamlessly incorporate various game events
• Work with directors and leads to match the visions of 3D action and exploration games
• Communicate and collaborate across a range of fields to meet technical needs
• Adapt to various project goals and complete assignments in a timely manner
• Follow design guidelines, naming conventions, and other technical constraints

Required Skills
• Familiarity with world building tools and/or experience with Unreal / Unity
• Strong sense of composition, space, and scale within 3D architecture
• Ability to design and incorporate encounters, puzzles, and game-play challenges
• Proven ability to be detail oriented & work efficiently within a production environment
• Be able to work from home and communicate with the team daily or as needed

Qualifications
• 1+ years of professional experience as a game or level designer
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Portfolio, Demo Reel, or Showcase of previous work
• Good time management with minimal need for supervision
• Programming and/or scripting skills, proficiency with modeling tools, and story and/or dialog creation experience are a plus
• Leadership and creativity are a big plus
