Our client, located in North Atlanta is looking to hire a Software Engineer ---------- this position, you will be working with Big Data and Machine Learning.

Work locations: Remote or In-Office (Alpharetta, GA)

We are looking for candidates who are analytical, smart, have excellent problem-solving skills, ability to follow through logic and instructions with an interest in building unique solutions with the use of LexisNexis HPCC (High-Performance Computing Cluster) Big Data technology.

The Software Engineer-II position that we have in our mind is a dream job for anyone interested in HPCC, graph analytics, data science, and the modeling industry. You will be embedded in a high-performing team alongside Architects, and Sr. level employees and will be responsible for developing software solutions.

Responsibilities:
Development of ETL program and processes using ECL (Enterprise Control Language)
Create various data perspectives for Attribute and Modeling Development
Unit testing
Workflow configuration of visual analytics
Necessary documentation
Skills:
HPCC ECL, SALT, and KEL is essential for this role – Formal onsite training will be provided
Unit testing and interest in automation strategies is preferred
Java experience is highly preferred as we will be migrating from ECL to Java in the future
BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
