Part Time
800-1300$/mo
TBD
Feb 27, 2026
Hello!
We're looking to implement an ambitious expansion plan in 2023 which will see our current team grow and with it, we'll have a bunch of HR and Recruitment needs that can no longer be executed by other people inside the team. This is where you come in!
We want to hire a "full stack" HR person that can engage with us to help us drive home a variety of HR-related goals over the coming year and beyond. This is a part-time position where we're thinking of a fixed 20h/week, being fully part of the team, with maybe opportunity for occasional spikes in work (if you can!).
You'll be hired for an experimental period and eventually become Head of HR. However, given our small team you're expected to juggle managing and creating processes with actually doing the work — we don't have, and don't expect to have in the year ahead an HR team. So if "managing" and "leading a team" and "not doing the grunt work" is (fairly!) in your preferences this is NOT the job for you.
But first: who are we?
We're a digital studio. This means we build web and mobile products for others and offer our skills to augment the teams of our clients. We're fully remote and decentralised (even before the pandemic). We work for all around and do not have a proper HQ. We've been in business and profitable for over 10 years now.
We're at 23 in headcount and plan to grow beyond 32 in 2023. We an ambitious (but rooted) plan to get us there.
Needless to say although we hire for some non tech roles, most of our recruitment is for technical positions and will continue to be.
What we need / Whom are we looking for?
1. Someone with "HR beyond recruitment" experience (see below what we expect you to do to maybe understand better) — help set compensation, career plans, manage vacations etc;
2. Someone with solid tech recruitment experience — ideally in web and mobile technologies such as PHP, React, React Native, Ruby etc;
3. Someone who is a go-getter and can get sh*t done without having to be hand-held through the process — because we are growing we're all too busy to make it work otherwise;
4. Someone with high integrity and values;
5. Someone who's not looking at this as a 'short gig' — you'll care for our people and they're literally our biggest asset, so we want someone that can be in for the long run, be part of the team and help execute on it.
6. Have initiate — your own ideas, your own motivation — but can follow a plan — we have a clear vision of where we want to go.
What will you be doing?
1. A lot of it will be recruitment — processing (first stage) inbound candidates, setting up interviews, following up with candidates, making them go through tests (that the team will prepare) and get them ready to be hired;
Note: This is probably the most relevant bit. We have an admin assistant that can help with some of the grunt work and that you can help manage.
2. Onboarding — we want your help to design extraordinary onboarding process for all of our new hires: so they're welcomed, feel oriented and can hit the ground running.
3. HR Policies & SOPs — you'll help us setup and write all sort of HR policies so we have a source of truth for how to handle people and all their needs.
4. Culture — you'll help us increase company culture quality by pushing the barrier of what can be done in a remote environment;
5. Ordinary "HR" Stuff — other HR stuff too: manage vacations, career plans, salary advancements etc.
Let us work together? Apply and answer the proposed questions — they're mostly what we're looking at!
QUESTIONS:
1. Do you have experience in HR/Recruitment in tech-focused-roles? Please describe in 2-3 bullet points?
2. What is the professional accomplishment you're the most proud of?
3. What do you understand this role to be and why do you think you can add value?
4. Are you available 20H/week and when could you start?
