(ASAP) Lead Accountant for UK-based Education Tech Company

About the Company:
We are an education tech company based in the UK, with tea ---------- mbers based in the US, Europe, and Asia. We provide professor-led live online courses to students around the world.

Job Duties:
For this position, which reports to the Managing Director directly, you will be handling the day-to-day bookkeeping and managing finance for a fast-growing company with seven-figure USD revenue. You will also be working with accountants and tax attorneys in the UK, Hong Kong, and the US to implement their tax advisory plans.

Your daily duties will include reconciling incoming tuition payments, arranging staff compensations, updating the tracker, preparing financial reports on a monthly basis for management review, developing budgets and projections, liaisoning with UK/US/Hong Kong accountants, and more.

Time Commitment:
The overall time commitment will be between 10 to 20 hours per week. You can work on your own schedule as long as you are responsive on IM/Email and the tasks can be completed within 24 hours.

The position is remote, and the working hours can be highly flexible.

Qualified candidates who are able to start as soon as possible will be given preference.

Requirement:
Familiarity with Quickbook and Excel (including Google Sheets) is a must.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Willingness to learn new concepts and local laws of different countries.
Extremely detail-oriented.
An undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance or a related field is preferred.
Working experience for a North America/Europe/Hong Kong/Singapore/Australia/Japan based company is also preferred.
