We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Google Workspace Administrator who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment supporting and maintaining a large-scale Google Workspace environment.

Job Summary:

Google Workspace Administrator is responsible for handling the day-to-day technical support of our employees, including information systems, networks, upgrading/installing hardware and software, and performing troubleshooting. Manage backup data and network/cybersecurity. Assist in the creation, update, and maintenance of relevant IT and cybersecurity policies and procedures, including CMMC compliance. SaaS administration for business tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft product suite, and more.


Responsibilities:
- Lead IT onboarding process by purchasing the necessary hardware, computer configuration, setup, distribution, and maintenance. Providing IT orientation to new hires when needed, creating accounts, new licenses, etc.,
- Administer, manage, and maintain within the Workspace suite: Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc.
- Design and implement data loss prevention (DLP) controls for Workspace content
- Implement Gmail filtering controls to detect and quarantine sensitive content
- Perform I ---------- response across all Workspace services
- Document and present security best practices and designs to Customer stakeholders
- Facilitate company rollout of custom solutions that integrate Google Workspace functionality and work productivity,
- Create project scope and lead execution of asset and network laptop configuration for CMMC and IT policy compliance,
- Participate in IT/cybersecurity audits by consultants or experts,
- Lead the onboarding and implementation of new vendors, applications, and current enhancements throughout the corporate team.
- Actively participate in training or writing IT articles for the company newsletter about cybersecurity, distribute IT knowledge, current trends, etc. such as phishing, scams, and virus protection,
- Build relationships with each department to fully understand their IT needs, recommend or create IT efficiencies, and facilitate areas of mechanization or improvements where identified.
- Provide specialized training on desktop applications or cloud-based programs to ensure employees understand the full capabilities of these tools and incorporate them into their day-to-day,
- Focus on IT service optimization and automation for corporate teams,
- Answer promptly to company chats, phone calls, or email requests for IT assistance or support needs,
- Oversee email retention activities to comply with applicable regulations and retention requirements, and
- Manage company website, including updates.

- Suggests new ways to improve company file system management and other relevant IT tasks.


Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar degree.
- 5+ years of proven experience working as an IT Administrator, Google Workspace Administrator or any equivalent position.
- Must be an expert with Google Workspace. Strong knowledge and experience handling Google Admin console, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets and Slides and related issues.
- Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing,
- Experience and familiarity with Microsoft suite products, including Teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team,
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks or projects effectively,
- Understands security protocols and how to implement them,
- Strong customer service skills,
- Proven problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, and
- Able to explain or resolve issues to technical and non-technical personnel.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.
- Must be able to plan, analyse, summarise and present reports.
- Excellent high level of organisational and time management skills.
- People-oriented with good leadership ---------- sired Qualifications:
- Professional Google Workspace Administrator Certificate
- Experience operating and maintaining systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) & Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation process and security requirements
