Writer/Data Entry

We're looking for a writer who can research and find websites to promote articles. You will also be managing our shopping carts (product entry using Volusion and 3D-Cart). HTML knowledge is a plus, but not required (we can train you).

It's important that your English is nearly perfect, since you will be researching a topic (water gardens, koi, computers, restaurant equipment, etc.) and then promoting articles from our blogs through social media (on blogs, forums, twitter, facebook, etc.). You will be interacting with people speaking English.

You will also be reading articles and writing summaries. You may write articles sometimes as well.

It's very important that you are good at learning new things. I'll often be sending you links to websites with articles or videos with instructions and training.

Communication is key. At first, we will have daily phone calls. Once you are trained, we'll switch to daily email updates and a weekly call. If you are too shy to talk to me on the phone and ask me questions or for help when you need it, please don't apply. I expect that you will try to answer the question yourself first, then come to me for help. I am here to help you with your job and I expect that you will have questions - so it's important that you can ask when you need help.

Experience with spreadsheets will help with your product entry.

Requirements:
Very strong English
Ability to research a topic and write about it (quality is more important than quantity)
Excel (or other spreadsheet applications)
Attention to detail (you will need to be very accurate with product entry)
Social media experience (forums, blogs, etc)

Preferred skills:
Some HTML knowledge
Wordpress
Photoshop (or other graphic design)

This is a full time job.
