JOB OVERVIEW

I am the owner of an e-commerce electronics company. We design, develop & sell consumer electronics worldwide, targeting mostly Apple customers. (Will share the brand name after the initial application for candidates we are interested in)

We are a premium brand and are growing very quickly.

Currently, we are building a top team with some of the best people in their fields and are looking for a customer support lead to join us in our mission to create some of the best consumer products in the world.

We are a small team that packs a punch. By building good structures and processes, we reduce the daily legwork and run a very lean business.

We are looking for a customer support lead who can handle our day to day customer support (currently manageable by 1 person) as well as basic order fulfillment tasks or admin tasks related to customer ---------- the future as the customer support work grows, you'd then be able to manage other support agents.

Our products are technical products, so a good general understanding of electronics products would be useful.

The reason we offer such a high salary for this position (a lot above average for customer support) is because we are looking for the best of the best!

You should not only be able to utilize our pre-written responses, but instead, really understand what the customer needs, address their concerns and go above and beyond to resolve issues.

We also expect you to help continuously improve our customer support, by documenting new processes, improve existing templates if needed, proactively reach out to customers where we can identify potential delays or issues with their shipment already, etc.

We believe customer support is one of the most important pillars of our business, because customers who run into an issue, can be turned into fans, if they get fast and immediate solutions, knowing they can rely on our company in any case!

This is a long-term position. We prefer to keep whoever we hire on-board for years to come with the option to take on more responsibility over time and also earn more in the future!

For this position the work hours are flexible and you will be able to work daytime hours in the Philippines (no night shift, yeay!)

You will have to be available at least for 2h every day though, including Saturday and Sunday. At least for the beginning where you will be the only one responsible for responding to customer support tickets. (We promise customers a 24h response time) In the future we can create a schedule with other customer support staff so you'll also have some days off.

You will require the following skills for this position:

Problem Solving 
Can you find solutions on your own, by using Google?

Detail-oriented
You will double-check your own work to make sure things are correct.

Flawless English
You should be able to write flawless English and help customers that need assistance via e-mail or comments (no specific knowledge about the topic needed)

Ability to learn quickly
I will teach you how to do the work. However, I expect that you will educate yourself more on your work, by doing research online & learning from the results we achieve

Writing Skills
You should be really good at structuring text into an easy-to-consume format!

Google Sheets
You should be able to use Google Sheets.

Work hours are flexible and will amount to 40h per week.
