Hi,
I'm Lucian and I'm launching a new growth-focused digital marketing agency focusing on ecommerce clients.
I'm looking for a Scrum Master that can help the cross-functional growth team coordinate better, stay on top of their tasks, do 15m daily meetings with the team, help them eliminate any roadblocks they might have, and manage and assign tasks in
Prior Clickup experience would be a big plus, but if you’ve used Trello, Asana, or other project management apps like that and have implemented Scrum in them, then that would work, too.
Is that you? Then please read further.
OUR VALUES
1. Outcome-focused
We are an agency that always thinks about the "end goal" or "desired outcome" of both the agency client as well as their own customers when we develop the campaigns. This is why we are building cross-functional "growth teams" for each client, because we know that it takes more than just Google Ads or just
2. Growth mindset
We not only focus on growing the client's business as fast as possible and as profitably as possible, but we also strive to become better at what we do every single day. We want people in our teams that always go the extra mile not just to impress "the boss" or other tea
3. Integrity and honesty
We always want to be truthful and transparent when something is not working as expected, because that's the only way to figure out a solution together, whether we're talking about an internal team issue or an issue with the client's account. The client will respect us more in the long-term if we give them the hard truth and then help them find a solution to whatever problem they are facing.
4. Respect and professionalism towards teammates
Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism, not just because that’s the right thing to do and they don’t deserve to be treated in a negative way regardless of what they did wrong, but also because I strongly believe that people are more effective when they are happy with their work environment and their colleagues.
ROLE OBJECTIVES
You may already know that Scrum is a framework typically used by software companies, but I would like to implement it for my digital marketing agency, and I believe it can be successfully implemented. I know examples of other agencies that use it and we could discuss in more detail about it once you get hired or in the interview.
The plan for now is to have 2-week sprints, where every tea
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As mentioned above, your responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating the growth tea
2. Daily 15-minute (audio-only, unless preferred otherwise) meetings and help the team remove roadblocks that stand in the way of their work
3. Helping the tea
4. Help organize sprints, idea backlogs, story points, etc
5. Anything else that might help the entire team to increase productivity with every new sprint
EXPECTATIONS
The first 1-2 months will be trial to see if you are a good fit for the agency and for the type of content that the clients will need to help their business succeed. If I don't think we're a good fit after a month, we'll part ways in a friendly manner. If you did a good job anyway, but aren't a good fit, we might still keep your contact and recommend you to other businesses for which you may be a better fit in the future. So it's important to do your best whether or not we ended up being a good fit or not.
TRAINING
I want our growth teams to always keep learning and improving their skills, so I will constantly provide new resources for training so you can keep improving your skills.
Being certified in Scrum would be a big plus, too, but if you’re not certified I would at least want you to go through the materials I believe would improve your work, and potentially help you get certified in the
This is a full time position, and you’ll end up helping and coordinating teams for 4 different clients, but initially you’ll start with 1-2 and we’ll go from there.
After certain revenue/profit thresholds are hit for the client, we’ll reward the team with a bonus which will be split equally between the members. The bonus size will be directly proportional to the increase in revenue/profit achieved for the client. So the more you can help the team become more effective, the faster we’ll see the impact on the client’s business and therefore the bigger the bonus will be.
If you prefer to start on an hourly rate, let me know what that rate is.
