A freight dispatcher is someone that coordinates and manage the schedules of truck drivers to ensure products and goods are picked up and delivered in a timely manner. The freight dispatcher responsibilities are:

1. Contact Freight Brokers on behalf of the trucking company to book loads
2. Stay in constant contact with drivers
3. COLD CALLING- Freight Dispatcher must be able to establish rapports with brokers, shippers, etc in order to find dedicated routes for drivers.
