Hello!
Thanks for checking out my job post. My name is Zac, from Australia and I'm looking for my first full time or part time employee to join my digital marketing business. My business focuses on lead generation, not client SEO and mainly focuses on organic and GMB's.
To be successful in this job you must be fluent in English and have extensive experience in copy and content writing. I cannot stress this enough; please ensure you are a proficient writer if you apply. If you tick this box then read on. If not, I'm sorry but this is not the one for you.
What will be involved in this role:
- copywriting for new and existing websites
- content writing for blogs and supporting pages
- researching to create KW matrices and structure the content
- using asana to send completed tasks to other members of the team
Successful applicants will possess:
- an ability to learn quickly
- great writing skills
- a passion for learning and SEO
- high level English skills
- a proactive, not reactive attitude
- ability to work autonomously. This means creating your own work
Preferable skills but not mandatory:
- experience using jasper
- experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs
- experience using Asana
- experience with another marketing agency (so I can learn from you)
Additional tasks (unsure if I will require this of you, but would be beneficial if you could!)
- general admin tasks
- resizing and relabelling photos for websites
- spinning content for citations
- maybe research tasks? unsure
A little more about what you will be learning and doing:
I have created a lot of training for how to research content and how the content is to be written. A lot of the initial research and blog topic ideas will be provided but the goal is to train you to research topics, learn how to gain feature snippets, find zero volume long tail keywords to rank for quickly and create advanced virtual silo's. This stuff is cool.
A little more about me:
I love SEO. I love learning about SEO, doing courses in SEO, talking about SEO and seeing the outcomes of my SEO work. I still don't see myself as an 'SEO guru' and believe that the majority of people who proclaim SEO expertise are full of s**t.
However, I love to keep up to date with the latest SEO tactics and am constantly learning and completing training. I would like to think that if we work together you will learn some great techniques and tricks that will make you more proficient at your job and help you upskill. And I'd love to learn some from you.
This is going to be super exciting as I plan on conducting some testing where we target some sites only with on page SEO and limited or no backlinking to see what results we can
We will also be toying around with different techniques to gain featured snippets, rank for a high number of keywords and create systems to automate different elements of the work flow.
I am passionate about what I do and bring a lot of energy to the table. I am looking to build a team that is the same.
If you have any other skills that you think could be beneficial then let me know! I am always looking to find ways to create processes to speed up tasks and free up my time. I am constantly getting bogged down in tasks I have no idea how to do or anyone of you would be 100x better at!
Please respond with your resume if you have one, attach links to your work, and answer the following questions:
1. Are you fluent in English?
