CREATIVE VIDEO EDITOR WITH MUSICAL INSTRUMENT EXPERIENCE

Responsible for putting together raw footage to create a finished product suitable for broadcast that tells a story or communicates a message. This involves choosing the right shots, adding effects and transitions, and working with audio. A video editor should have a good eye for detail and be able to work within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Edit video footage to create a finished product that is suitable for a variety of broadcasting purposes
- Select and edit footage, add effects and graphics, and ensure that the finished product meets technical standards
- Utilize video editing software programs to create high-quality videos
- Work with the production team to ensure that the finished product meets the required deadlines

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a video editor
- Technical proficiency with video editing software
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is a plus
- Ability to play a musical instrument and/or make music is a plus
- Cinematography and advertising background preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative flair and ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to follow and understand specific instructions
