Experienced YouTube/Reels Video Editor

Hey there, PLEASE READ ENTIRE JOB DESCRIPTION so that we don’t waste each other's time if you are not a good fit!

We are looking for an EXPERT video editor who will be editing videos for our YouTube channel. These videos range between 5-15 minutes.

For each video you edit, you will be required to chop up the videos into short 60-second clips and add subtitles to these clips which you will then post on TikTok / Instagram and YouTube Shorts. Below are the following requirements we are looking for from someone, if you do not have these requirements PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!

REQUIREMENTS:
? At least 1-year experience in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator

? Speaks English FLUENTLY (if you can understand English perfectly we won't be able to accept your application)

? Can understand English well enough to transcribe videos without our help.

? Looking to eventually work with us FULL TIME

YouTube:
Our youtube videos are going to be a combination of us talking in front of the camera, as well as tutorials sharing our screen and showing tutorials. You will be editing anywhere from 4-6 videos a week.

Reels/TikTok:
Each YouTube video you edit will be chopped into small clips which you will then add subtitles into these short clips.

The main concept of this video edit will be to transcribe the words being said in the video and match them to the voice. As the video below shows, you will need to add the proper emojis which relate to what is being mentioned in the video. This is why we require whoever we hire to have a good understanding of the English language.

You will also be required to create a thumbnail for the video that looks like the below youtube channel's video thumbnails.

Based on your application, if we think you’re you would be a good candidate, we’ll send you a YOUTUBE video to edit. You will also edit this video into REEL format and put together a proper thumbnail.

After viewing your work, if we believe you are a good fit after viewing your work, we will send you a link to schedule a meeting where we will get on a ZOOM call and get to know you better.
