LAMP Administrator / Web Developer

We are looking for a programmer/systems administrator with extensive experience in developing systems using LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP). You must also have experience with Open Source CMS and Applications (Joomla, Wordpress, phpBB3, SugarCRM).

Skills and Duties:
? MySQL DBA / systems administration with strong experience in the maintenance of mission-critical commercial LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) systems;
? Deployment, administration and operational support (production, staging, test and development) of work environments for multiple projects using LAMP Web Server;
? Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Joomla, Wordpress, phpBB3, SugarCRM, PHP/MySQL sites;
? Work with the development staff to determine project requirements for test/production environments;
? Keep current with emerging software enhancements, security patches and bug fixes;
? Monitor application server performance and respond appropriately
? Modify, install and prepare technical documentation for system software applications;
? Monitor systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures, and provides Tier 2 technical support
? Provide high level written communications such as white papers, decision documents, or research papers
? Identify, escalate and document production impact issues for the environment to confirmed delivery for client and business notification

Requirements:
? Must have your own computer and a high speed Internet connection;
? Excellent English communication skills;
? Can work from home without distractions;
? Must have Skype application installed and Skype ID;
? Must have your own PayPal account;
? Willing to be trained and to learn new things;
