JOB OVERVIEW

I was on Ken Okazaki's podcast, which he put on YouTube and a couple of other places:

----------

As you can see, it's already edited and chopped up with show notes.
But there's no transcription, which can be turned into an article.

We happen to prefer Descript (like a Swiss Army knife of video editing for non-video editors) to make this super quick and easy. Though some folks still prefer using Premiere and other tools.

Turn this into a blog post on my site, ---------- following my article guidelines:
----------

And if you want to learn how to do it right, so you can do this full-time for us and clients (we have thousands of episodes to process)-- and gain more skills, you can see ---------- /freelancer.

Your English proficiency must be top-notch because you'll be working on content. That means correct grammar, punctuation, etc. If you're struggling with those things, it will show.

We can't afford to be sloppy because clients expect us to deliver outputs that are error-free.

You don't have to be super skilled, but you need to be reliable. Know your responsibilities and do your job well consistently. Reliability has always been a problem, so if you can show that you're someone we can depend on, you'll have a long-term job after this.

You have to be responsive and able to manage your inbox well. That means getting to inbox zero daily and responding to messages (email, Basecamp, Skype, etc.) within 24 hours if not immediately.

Be an active listener. People who truly understand, demonstrate their comprehension by writing thoughtful responses.

I don't like chasing people, so if you have to be chased ( ---------- ) just to get a response or an action, you will not be a good fit for us.

Do not just send me your resume, ask to book a call, or send a canned note.

Instead, show you clearly understand my specific requirements.
If you have an example, make sure it's relevant-- don't send me a giant list of articles and videos.

And to show that you're taking this seriously, let the first line of your message be the sum of 1352 + 3647.
