Jr. Graphic Design Specialist

We are an e-commerce start-up looking for a part-time Jr. Graphic Design Specialist to support our Marketing team for 15-20 hours per week.

Job Description: Jr. Graphic Design Specialist

Under the supervision of the Creative Director, shows adeptness, skill and efficiency in preparing and producing
technically correct final art files for digital, print, packaging and marketing materials for multiple brands.
Examples include Amazon content, banners, supplement packaging and labels, shipper boxes, brand guidelines,
static and interactive PDF documents. Also makes copy/imaging updates to existing files.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of clipping masks, layers, using multiple color swatch palettes, re-creating low-res logos to vector
images, etc.
Able to assist with digital production (e.g. assets for web and social media and general design support).
Ability to follow and effectively execute direction given.
Retouching skills a plus.
Must have 1-3 years or more of production experience.
A portfolio is required, clearly describing what your contributions were. If a portfolio website or PDF is not
included, the applicant will not be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures assets comply with standards for Brand Style Guides, file naming and file formats according to
specifications.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and setting up files for
various delivery methods.
Must be efficient, detail-oriented and have a firm understanding of and experience with all aspects of
production including clipping, color correction, image manipulation.
Possesses a working knowledge of digital delivery methods and formats.
Has effective communication, time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
