Human Resource Specialist/Virtual Assistant

We are looking for a Human Resource/Virtual Assistant to start ASAP!
The HR/VA will lead and direct the routine functions of Human Resources (HR) including recruitment & talent acquisition (sourcing and interviewing applicants), onboarding, and enforcing company policies and practices.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
*Manages human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
*Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
*Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
*Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
*Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
*Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current ---------- CATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Proven working experience in Human Resources & Recruitment
A degree in Human Resources or a related field is a bonus but not required
Strong knowledge of US Labor Law and HR best practices is preferred
People-oriented and results-driven
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

REQUIREMENTS:
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under extensive time constraints
Proficient with Google Docs, Google Sheets & other Google applications
Must have a stable and secure internet connection of at least 25mbps
Personal computer or laptop with updated anti-virus, processor & operating system
Headset, earphones, or earbuds with a clear microphone & noise cancelation
Current NBI or Police Clearance (valid within 6 months of application)
