Video Editors needed [Good pay / Loyal boss]

At Unintentional Media, we aim to create the most relaxing videos on YouTube.
Our flagship channel is the largest unintentional ASMR channel on YouTube and boasts over 225,000 subscribers at present.

Our YouTube presence includes multiple active channels mainly in the sleep and relaxation niche with more to come.

We also provide video editing and YouTube strategy services for select YouTubers and businesses.

We aim to go above and beyond to create the best videos possible and we are looking for video editors who will do the same.

Ideally we want a candidate who is a great communicator, manages their time well, enjoys video editing and hopefully enjoys ASMR, relaxation videos or some form of videos like this.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to day responsibilities include:
- Using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and general video editing software to work on a video.
- Using Adobe Audition or similar to edit audio to the highest standard possible.
- Making creative editing choices depending on the video type. Example.... For ASMR videos, knowing the proper flow of an ASMR video, choosing the most relaxing or intriguing Upgrade to see actual infonts for the preview, etc. For standard YouTube videos, knowing when to edit the video to keep the pace of the video consistent.
- Adjusting your video to meet YouTube analytics, ASMR standards, etc. after consulting with the team and taking subscriber/client feedback.
- Creating motion graphics and some basic animation in videos as required

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT

- You are knowledgeable in Adobe products, specifically Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition, etc.
- You have experience editing YouTube-style videos, or at least you have a strong interest in
- YouTube and know exactly how to edit for it.
- Ability to animate, even basic animation, a strong asset.
- You are very accountable, always meet deadlines in advance without sacrificing quality
- You understand and write English well.
- Thumbnail design experience using Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva is a plus
- You are a quick learner who is eager to learn the video strategy quickly in order to maximize
efficiency and create the best video possible.
- You show a passion for video editing, and while someone with experience is desirable, we will not discount anyone who has proven they are a talented editor who we could work with.
- Be ambitious, eager to improve your skills and learn.

This role has the potential for a lot of creative control for the right candidate.
