Why we need you...

Here's the purpose of the role:

Oversee the supply chain operation for all Learning Roots products - Ensuring 100% availability at all times (Goods IN) 

Responsible for all customer order fulfilment and customer service management (Goods OUT)





What you'll have to do...

Here are your key responsibilities for Supply Chain (Goods IN) :

Ensure 100% product availability at all times in all locations – optimising working capital and ensuring zero out of stock

Manage supplier network, establish a preferred list, and conduct new supplier scouting and enlisting; build and maintain good relationships with suppliers. Conduct sampling & sample approval,

Negotiate costing and quality of materials & products with suppliers maximising profitability and quality  

Manage supply chain process from creating purchase orders, shipping procurement, logistics bookings, label preparation etc. ensuring timely goods in. 

Manage product adjustment and information including: 

artwork adjustments, 

barcode update product spec sheets/trade forms

new product listing on the internal system - Xero/Blade

optimise carton / pack quantity

Establish and monitor supply chain performance metrics

Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase efficiency and profitability for the company.

Plan and implement an overall supply chain strategy taking into consideration external and internal factors. Consistently suggest solutions for improvements, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner

Here are your key responsibilities for Supply Chain (Goods OUT) :

Manage the full customer order process - from inputting orders, and invoicing, to ensure goods are despatched on time etc. 

Manage all customer enquiries, both B2C and B2B,  and ensure responses are done in a timely manner, with the support of the Customer Service Agent (s)

Look out for business development opportunities from enquiries and follow up accordingly. 

Resolve all customer issues, and handle escalations to appropriate internal stakeholders where required, providing the best resolutions to customer issues.

Coordinate with fulfilment centres for despatch and ensure international orders are dispatched on time, with appropriate shipping costs

Develop and monitor customers service performance metrics 

Process any product returns and refunds 

Work closely with the sales, product and marketing team to deliver customer happiness. 





Do you have what it takes?

Here are the knowledge and skill requirements for the role:

1+ years’ supply chain  or customer service management experience

BA in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance  or similar field 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Software: Strong hands-on knowledge of PC operating systems; Microsoft Office Suite specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel; Previous experience with Xero Accounting Software, Help Scout, and distribution software an asset.
