Web design team lead ($7/hour+ USD minimum)

ABOUT THE JOB:
I'm looking for a part-time person to be our web design point of contact for clients. This person will help manage communications between clients and our design team. The role can grow to full-time.

There will be a lot of design communication between you and the customers and my design team. So understanding design software and design concepts is important so that you can talk with the customers, understand their feedback, and properly communicate those changes to the full-time designers, or do some design mockups/updates yourself.

Since you will be talking to customers on a daily basis, primarily through email, communication skills are important.

Looking for someone that can:

- manage a design team
- improve upon existing design processes to streamline web design and development
- communicate with clients and understand their needs
- communicate client business goals to the design/dev team to make sure that the products have business impact to clients
- manage development and QC of infographics
- communicate to me and you especially when there are team challenges
- identify and incorporate best designs and processes into our system so that we can continuously improve output and quality
- maintain knowledge assets for design work as well as development

Skills should include:

- Figma & Photoshop (we primarly use Figma)
- UI/UX experience for software design or marketing websites
- communication skills
- organizational skills
- people and leadership skills
- branding or brand management experience
- knowledge of design systems
- experience with file management
- QC experience

HOURS:
I am flexible on hours, but would request that at least half of your working hours are during US times. You do not need to work all daily hours during US time, but at least 4 of them should be during US Central Time zone 8 am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 4 pm.

PAY:
Pay is at least $7/hour, with room for growth over time. Ideally, after trust is established, we pay a fixed payment salary so we don't have to waste time tracking hours.
