Projects Assistant

I am looking for a proactive Projects Assistant to work collaboratively with me on specific short- and long-term projects. Half of the time, you will be helping me with my podcast, and all the projects and tasks associated with it. The other half of the time, you will be helping me with other tasks as they come my way from other clients and companies. You must be very detail-oriented, and have a variety of skills to be successful in this role.

This is part time to start, and will rapidly transition to full time if you have the bandwidth, and if you do well. Please keep this in mind before you apply. If you are unable to potentially work full time in 1-2 months from now, please DO NOT apply.

For the podcast: You will be responsible for managing and helping me with projects related to the podcast, which includes but is not limited to: communicating with potential guests, audio editing with Audacity, video editing using CapCut and/or Filmora 11, transcript editing within Otter.ai, creating social media images using Canva, and other ad hoc tasks.

For other projects: You may work on projects and tasks such as research, writing, video posting and re-posting, social media research, and other ad-hoc tasks.

Projects Assistant Requirements and Qualifications:
- University degree preferred
- Strong English skills, especially grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience in similar roles
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving
- Able to proactively address potential issues
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with Audacity, Canva preferred
- Collaborative working style and team-player attitude
- Positive and encouraging personality
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to the team's success
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment

Compensation is $3 USD/hr to start, with a quick transition to $500 USD/month for full time work if you are the right fit. Raises will come if you exceed expectations. Please do not apply if you are not willing to start at $3/hr part time.
