Talented content writer for a pet accessory brand

Hi, we are a company that specializes in pet travel items. We are looking for a full-time talented content writer for our official websites. We have an ongoing requirement for creative web content writing that includes product descriptions, blog posts, video voiceover scripts, and email marketing that Utilizes SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and keyword strategies to increase website traffic and sales. You will be working alongside our SEO manager in the Philippines. You must be a self-starter who is able to accomplish tasks with little or no supervision/direction. Preferably, you are a pet parent so you know cats’ and/or dogs’ habits, what they love and hate, so you know how to touch pet owners’ hearts when writing.

Your Main Tasks:

- Writing engaging content for our blog and social media posts
- BLOGS & Newsletter: Researching various topics in order to write blog posts and newsletters to improve our Google ranking organically (in flawless U.S. English and 100% unique/plagiarism-free)
- Email marketing
- Scripting for videos

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in communications arts, marketing, English, journalism, or related course.
- Minimum of 1-year writing experience (sales copy, product descriptions, press releases, website content)
- A portfolio of published articles.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

- Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) concepts is a PLUS.
- Knowledge of Social Media Marketing is a PLUS.
- Knowledge of American culture, trends, politics, and sports is a PLUS
