JOB OVERVIEW

We are a criminal law firm based in Australia. We previously were using different call centres in Australia to assist us, but have now created our own team to take our front line calls.

We are looking for another tea ---------- mber to add to our existing team. This is a home based position.

Duties initially will include
- Answering the telephone
- Recording information into our database, based on the calls
- Booking appointments
- Communicating messages and transferring calls from existing clients to other staff members and more generally being the front-line managers of all calls to the firm
- At some stage in the future, managing a chat bot on the website.

There will be a great deal of training involved and we are looking for people that want to become part of the team, as such we are hiring direct rather than going through an agency. We are looking for long term people. We already have three trained tea ---------- mbers from the Philippines and we are looking now to add a a fourth person.

Our current 34 staff members are made up of a number of lawyers and assistants. There will be a lot of information to understand, but there will be a lot of support.

All tea ---------- mbers will be connected via a communicator setup to our Australian offices, so a good computer and fast internet connection will be essential. A second monitor is also required.

All tea ---------- mbers will be connected continuously throughout the day, so there will not be any room for taking on other work with other companies so please only apply if you are available full time and don't want to work other jobs.

Salaries will start at $800 US (or $1200 AUD) a month during training. Following the successful completion of training, the salary will be increased to $1100 AUD US (or $1650 AUD). How long the training lasts will depend on the applicant, but may be as short as 4 weeks or as long as 3 months, it really depends on when the successful applicant is able to take enquiries from start to finish.

We will pay the 13th month.

You will take most Australian holidays, you will be expected to work Philippine holidays. We have factored in the extra pay for holidays in the pay.

There will be further opportunities to increase salary as the work progresses.

Things to consider before applying
- Being able to spell correctly in English will be important
- Being able to speak English fluently will be essential
- A fast internet connection will be essential
- A reliable computer will be essential
- A second monitor is essential
- Availability between 9am and 5pm Australian time is essential (Be aware currently we have daylight savings in effect, so that means a start time of 6:00am. As of 2 April 2023 it would go back to a 7:00am start time) There will be 45 minutes lunch break each day.
