Copywriter

We’re looking for an individual with a passion for writing and storytelling to craft the perfect story for our clients. A Copy Ninja Copywriter is responsible for creating compelling and persuasive copy for use in paid advertising, email marketing, and other digital media channels. This includes developing effective headlines, creative and compelling copy, and content for digital advertisements, social media, email campaigns, landing pages, search engine optimization (SEO), paid search marketing (PPC), and other marketing campaigns.


Responsibilities:
Write content that promotes the company's or clients’ products to a target audience on a variety of platforms.
Write compelling content for a variety of digital and print marketing channels (social media, email, landing pages, ads, etc.)
Create on-brand messaging through research, well-written copy, compelling visuals, and sound design
Develop persuasive buzzwords and slogans
Create compelling online promotions
Write articles for the website
Create compelling email campaigns
Develop creative copy for the advertisement
Develop PPC campaign descriptions
Develop SEO strategy - focus keyword research and write meta content
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging across all marketing channels.

Qualifications
Two to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency setting
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in English or a related major
Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in conceptual writing in marketing or advertising, web, product, brand messaging, and promotional copy
Experience in an environment working with marketing, advertising or PR campaigns, print and social media preferred
Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively
Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and with a fast-paced team
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgment when working with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and client contacts, and take initiative
Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail
