Personal Attributes /Skills
1. Electrical / Electronics degree so can thoroughly understand our customers, markets and products - Experience and working knowledge of basic AC power theory, Transformers and General Test equipment techniques.
2. Very good verbal and written English. Good mathematical skills to analyze and interpret and present test data to customers.
3. Customer-oriented. Able to understand and empathize easily, with enthusiasm, by telephone as well as email

Day to Day Activities
1. Pre and post-sale applications support for customers.
2. Able to respond to web input/emails/phone calls from customers and provide technical explanations and solutions to their questions and issues.
3. Support new and existing customers through the information/demonstration/quote and ongoing technical support questions.

This will include
1. Understanding customers' technical support questions, investigating + replicating them, finding solutions and then communicating these back to the customer.
We anticipate that the ideal candidate will be able to investigate, simulate (using provided Voltech equipment and sample parts), and answer questions themselves, but there will always be an internal support network behind them.
2. Understanding customers' market, their needs and use of our products, and level of satisfaction with our products.
3. Assisting potential new customers to understand the scope and benefits of our solutions, and to provide any requested information (e.g. technical documentation or worked test examples, etc..)

We manufacture test and measurement equipment for industry, so we will supply equipment of each type for the employee to use.
