DATA ANALYST for Accounting Department (with Google Data Studio Skills)

The Data Analyst will work with the accounting department to ensure accuracy and efficiency in data management. This role will be responsible for identifying trends, providing data analysis, and reporting using Google Data Studio. The Data Analyst will also work closely with other departments to ensure data is properly aligned and meets company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements to account processes
• Support the accounting team by providing data analysis and reporting using Google Data Studio
• Work with other departments to ensure data alignment and company standards are met
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of data analysis
• Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting software and systems
• Identify trends and insights in the data to help inform decision making
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or related field
• Experience with Google Data Studio or similar data visualization tool
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial statements
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
