Transition Associate (Onboarding; Remote)

The Role
We are searching for a driven Transition Associate to join our Onboarding Team. Reporting to the Head of Onboarding and working closely with senior leadership, you will assist with new property transition processes, driving property management transitions through process implementation, project management, team training and property due diligence through ultimate handoff to Operations Team. The Transition Associate serves as our property partner relationship point of contact during the transition process, helps develop and maintain SOPs relating to new property transitions to facilitate streamlined onboarding processes for new property launches, and assists the Operations Team with new market launches.
About the Team
Our growth efforts are dependent on streamlined onboarding processes. Our Onboarding Team is essential to ensuring our new properties are launched within budget, on time, and meets the West Home Standards prior to sign off and occupancy by our community members. Our Onboarding Team sets the tone of all future property partner relationships and is deeply involved and knowledgeable of all facets of our business.
What You’ll Do:
Facilitate a smooth management transition process for new properties
Serve as one of the main property owner points of contact for West Home throughout the transition process through handoff to Operations Team
Complete due diligence efforts on new property including compiling and auditing property data from external sources including lease files, vendor contracts, marketing collateral, business licenses
Create data repository of all information received and dissemination of data to appropriate stakeholders in transition and operations process
Works closely with Operations Team to ensure the property is fully set up on all company technology systems and marketing platforms and all leasing, marketing and staffing plans are established for a smooth hand off
Oversee the status of the West Home transitions checklist, ensuring all items are complete and logged at appropriate times and alerting keys stakeholders when critical items become past due
Ensure all West Home Standard marketing collateral supplies are ordered and installed
Manage multiple transitions at a time in different markets
Collect feedback and survey responses from property owner partners on transition process to understand areas of improvement
Develop Best Practices and SOPs to streamline transition processes
Ensure the West Home Standards and Best Practices are maintained throughout the project life cycle
Coordinated and schedules regular meetings for each project team and records meeting minutes
Attends weekly pipeline meetings
Provide feedback to leadership on onboarding pain points and suggested solutions including technology needs and modifications
Requirements:
Past project management / listing creation and transition management experience is a must
Experience with property management softwares such as Entrata and Guesty and CRM systems such as Salesforce
2-3 years of experience in hospitality or multifamily industry related role
Experience in managing project finances, budgets, and forecasting (POs, Invoicing, Vendor Relations) is a must
Ability to stay organized, and effectively manage/prioritize multiple projects, and possess strong attention to detail and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
Excels under pressure and can maintain a calm demeanor under all high pressure and time sensitive circumstances
Desire to contribute, ask questions, and ask for help with needed
Maintain high levels of professionalism while interacting with community members, tea
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
