Part-time Accountant for a Real Estate Investment Company

We at SV Ventures are looking for a great part-time Accountant responsible for undertaking all tax preparation activities and delivering associated quality and professional accounting outcomes. We're a vibrant and very busy real estate investment company in need of an organized, task-oriented individual to join our team.

The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of US taxation, bookkeeping, and admin procedures. They will be expected to create financial statements and bookkeeping projects to ensure their readiness for the actual tax preparation for LLC for annual audits.

Job Role: Accountant with US taxation experience
Company: SV Ventures
Work Hours and Schedule: Flexible within 8 am-5 pm Pacific Time Mon-Fri.
Work Duration: Approx. 20hrs/month
Rate: $7/hr or more depending on qualifications
Salary: Bi-weekly via Xoom

Responsibilities:
• Full charge bookkeeping
• Detailed knowledge of accounting practices, systems, and standards
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Publish financial statements on time
• Handle annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data

Qualifications:
• Experience with US taxation IS A MUST
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Excellent organizational, and analytical skills
• Independent and self-motivated
• Ambitious with proven ability to succeed
• Well organized, should be able to follow instructions
• Stable & Fast Internet Connection
