Our growing team is looking for one "IT Expert" to help grow and maintain our tech department in our online education platform.

You'll be working with our knowledgeable team of other leaders to help put the pieces of our tech advancement-related plans together.

We're HelloLesson, the world's most trusted source for international skateboarding and bartending lessons- amongst others. We've been featured on Yahoo, Bloomberg, Fox Business, Upgrade to see actual info, and dozens of newspapers worldwide.

We're a debt-free, self-funded company that is growing each year (especially during the pandemic), and we need new teaUpgrade to see actual infombers who are looking for a long-term careers to help us keep up.

The ideal candidate must have the following skills & experiences:
Prior experience working with startups or the like
Strong department leader with skills in strategic planning, goal setting, process development, budgeting, and creating opportunities for professional development within the technology department.
Strong communication with the ability to convey technical topics in easy-to-understand business terms
Strategic smarts include the ability to identify new opportunities, drive clarity, create focus, and make tough decisions in complex and dynamic contexts.
Must be data and revenue-driven, looking at the web app as a way to fuel the business revenue
Ability to track and identify new technologies to solve complex business issues

Responsibilities:

Set up and manage company emails
Manage all technology accounts
Fix WordPress errors and update sites
Fix and Create new Zaps in Zapier
Give advice on what features to build and stop working on to ensure the web page’s profitability
Reduce development duration, cost, and risk by reusing proven and standardized product features.
Support and understand all development and IT-related projects in the company, including managing project-based employees and/or freelancers.
Manage Zoho CRM, Zendesk, Vonage, and Simple Texting, among others.



Qualifications:

No College or University experience required
Must understand basic WordPress development (3 years minimum experience)
Must have knowledge in Technologies such as React, Redux, GraphQL, React Apollo, Express.js, and Sequelize.
