Finance and Accounting Officer

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy/Business Management/Financial Management/Accounting Technology or any other related field

Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

With one year to two years of experience

A team-player, with strong leadership, organizational and management skills

With Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written)

Competent in process analysis and with good interpersonal relationship

Flexible, dynamic and results-oriented and has attention to details


JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Prepares schedules of subsidiary ledgers and bank reconciliations on a monthly basis

Prepares journal entries for non-cash and unusual transactions, accruals and month-end adjustments of the company

Prepares Sales Invoices and Billing Statements

Monitors daily cash balance of various bank accounts and reconciles with Cash Position Schedule

Prepares BIR related forms for filing and payment on a monthly or quarterly basis

Assists in the implementation and address issues and concerns of Accubooks Accounting System and ATGSPay Online Payroll and Attendance Management System

Leads in the testing of additional features and modules of AccuBooks Accounting System and ATGSPay Online Payroll and Attendance Management System

Assists in the bookkeeping, recording, reporting and preparation of financial transactions of ATGS clients and customers

Coordinates with different Departments/Divisions in the implementation of accounting and financial reporting strategies and programs

Facilitates inquiries from customers, suppliers, bank personnel and other external stakeholders regarding transactions of the company

Helps foster a work environment which promotes accountability, creativity, integrity and teamwork

Performs other job functions that may be assigned by the Finance and Accounting Officer, Chief Financial Officer and President from time to time

Attends conferences, seminars and workshops related to accounting
