A Kickass Web Developer for a friendly Australian Agency!

Hi all!
I'm looking for a Web Developer that is confident in WordPress and Shopify. Ideally, you're reasonable at designing websites as well as building them. You should know how to code in PHP and JavaScript, this is not just a web design role.

We are an Australian Digital Agency called 'Creator Club' and work with clients mostly in Australia but also have a couple overseas. We work with a lot of cannabis-related clients. We provide a supportive and friendly work environment. We are very relaxed in our approach, if you need a day off, that's perfectly fine. But we expect quality work and good communication skills.

About the role:
- It's a 25-40 hour a week role. Generally, you'll be working 25-30 hours a week, some weeks there may be an opportunity to do more work. If you're looking for 40 hours per week, it can be provided as long as your quality of work is good!

- Your first job will be a contract-based fixed fee project for one website with a lot of content ---------- 's a fun colourful website that isn't too difficult but will require a beautiful design. We will ask you to track your hours for this task and provide daily updates of what you have accomplished. Once complete, we'll d ---------- whether we continue with you as a part-time employee.

- You will be reporting to the founder (me) generally. I have a background in Web Development so you'll be talking to someone technical who can also provide you with ideas and solutions. I am very happy to teach and work with you to become a better developer. But because of my background in web development, I do expect a fairly high standard. Be up for the challenge!

- Hours are ideally matching up to AEST +10GMT time 9-5pm. But we are flexible if you want to start a little earlier or later that's no big deal.

- You will need to be good at communicating via our Project Management software ClickUp. Providing task updates as you complete them, changing task status' and

We also chat in Slack and Zoom. We love having conversations about things outside of work, we want to get to know you and have you be a part of our team. You are not just an employee, you will be a friend.

- Your briefs will often be written and detailed but you will also get videos/looms of work to do with adjustments and such, so you need to be able to take notes of what's to be done via those videos.

- You will work on a range of different websites on Shopify and WordPress, some e-commerce, some more service driven. You will create new projects and work on existing ones. We also use Go High Level, if you have experience with it, let us know!

- I am looking for a quality web developer who wants a job for the long term and wants to be a true member of our team, you will be treated with respect.

- You use Figma to design websites/landing pages and can turn them into live websites with ease.

- We pay weekly and your hourly rate will be between $8-$15 USD per hour depending on experience. We value our employees and if you do good work, expect regular bonuses!
