Flowstate is a dedicated email & marketing automation agency. Our focus is purely on email, and as a result, we are exceptional at creating incredible email experiences for our clients.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, we currently have a team of 20 staff & contractors, each of whom are dedicated to a particular job to deliver amazing emails. The team’s skills include scripting, design, technical integrations, strategy, reporting & project management.

We are entering a period of rapid growth & expansion, and as such, are looking to recruit key tea ---------- mbers who can help our clients & grow with our business.

About the role:
We’re looking for a skilled Email Marketing Specialist with strong knowledge of email platforms, namely Klaviyo. The role will be a dynamic role that allows for exposure to multiple clients concurrently in multiple different eCommerce industries.

To successfully complete the role of Email Marketing Specialist, key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Be the key point of contact for clients & competently manage multiple clients simultaneously (up to 10 clients at a single time). Clients are managed by way of phone, Zoom, Asana & Slack.
Manage the delivery of key email marketing services to the client - on time & on budget. Eg. email automation flow build project.
Manage the internal Flowstate teams (e.g. scripting or design) with tasks and deliverables required to complete a client project or ---------- liver a concise and considered email marketing strategy to the client that addresses their key business & customer ---------- liver a concise and considered digital marketing strategy to the client (where required) that assists with overall business growth and integration within the email marketing discipline.
Have a strong understanding of key eCommerce and email metrics that allows for clear recommendations to improve sales performance.
Have a strong understanding of the anatomy of a great email (script, images, mobile design, deliverability and so on).
Have the ability to clearly explain key email marketing concepts to our clients when questions are raised.
Be able to upsell our email services when a clear client need has been identified, engaging with the client to help them understand the ---------- n customer discovery sessions (deep dive into the client’s needs & pain points)
Run customer email journey mapping sessions to outline the structure of proposed ---------- tting-up new client accounts in Klaviyo or other major email service providers (ESPs)
Migrating data and templates from existing ESP
Integrating with the client’s e-commerce platform
Creating key customer segments

Email
template testing (we use Email on ----------
Building & populating email flows

Email
flow testing
Client previews and approvals
Building preference pages
Campaign ideation and email campaign management


Requirements:

Experience with major ESPs.
Experience with major eCommerce platforms.
Ideally a proven track record of customer management & success or experience working with multiple internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of the key principles of email marketing.
A keen eye for detail.
The ability to work within a highly systemised environment.
The ability and desire to improve systems where improvements are ---------- sign & copywriting knowledge is advantageous.
Expected Hours: 15-25 p/w
