Responsibilities include:
-Organization and systematization of all corporate filings and paperwork to make sure we keep compliant with IRS and government requirements.
-Organizing travel arrangements. Learning to make travel for us smooth, easy, fast, and productive. You will become fluent in our travel preferences and will be flexible to make any needed last-minute changes. You may accompany us on some
business travel and support me from the office on other trips I take.
-Screen many of our phone calls and
-Scheduling and holding the master calendar for appointments and project deadlines.
-Taking on anything that you can that will save me time from handling billing disputes to doing expense reports for me, to a variety of other tasks that save us
Other Information:
-The work environment is very informal. You will need to be comfortable WITHOUT a lot of corporate formalities. You also need to be a clear communicator who will speak plainly and believes in work/life balance and making the workplace fun and
fulfilling.
-Must have a home office and work environment that is efficient for doing business out of.
-Must want your work to be meaningful. Corny as it sounds, we deeply believe that we are doing something special in the work our company does, and for this fit to be right, you’ll need to catch the larger vision of this.
-You can count on us to always be supportive, respectful, and considerate. But I will also hold you accountable for getting things done in an excellent fashion.
Over time we want to be able to turn over more and more responsibility to you as we build the relationship and trust. I’m not looking for someone who I will need to constantly be looking over his or her shoulder. We want to be able to turn projects
and tasks over to you and know they will get done (or to have problems communicated to me as early in the process as possible.)
