As such, we are seeking a highly motivated talented FEATURE ARTICLE WRITER who will offer solutions, deliver on our promises and champion our cause to provide a winning experience for our customers.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As our Feature Article Writer, you will work closely with our SEO Supervisor, our Lead Writer, and the SEO team to assist in researching and writing informative and engaging articles for our target audience - commercial construction professionals. You will be expected to get acquainted with our products, our websites, and our target audience in order to produce high-quality content for the market niche.
If you have strong writing skills, can conduct your own research to find credible sources, and are comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment, then we encourage you to keep reading!
TAKE A CLOSER LOOK
Along with writing feature articles each month, you will also help the company in producing the following:
• Engaging and informative category and product descriptions
• Informative/advertorial guest blog outreach (GBO) content
• Adhering to industry-standard SEO-friendly best practices (Meta keywords, title, and description)
Your schedule will be busy - on average you can expect to write:
• 4 feature articles each month (1200 words)
• 2 - 4 website blog articles per week (
• 4 - 8 GBO articles per week (
• Web 2.0 articles (lowest priority)
CRITICAL TO YOUR SUCCESS
• Have a passion for writing
• Enjoy conducting your own research
• Be adept at gleaning facts and key points from various sources
• Follow processes for verifying credibility and selecting high-quality external links
• Write a strong compelling introduction with a hook
• Close articles with a summary and a strong call to action (CTA)
• Be a strong communicator
• Have a very strong work ethic (punctual, great attendance record, self-motivated)
YOUR STRENGTHS
• Considerable professional writing experience writing category and product descriptions for e-commerce websites according to industry-standard best practices
• Excellent spelling, grammar, and demonstrated experience writing for a North American audience
• Very strong research skills and the ability to understand our products and their application in various settings
• Great time management skills.
• A team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Can work under pressure
TO WORK FOR BEST YOU WILL NEED:
• Windows 10 PC (Required)
• Able to work afternoon shift (ex. 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM Manila Time)
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 15 Mbps internet speed
• A quiet working environment without distractions
• A webcam and microphone to be used for all meetings
• To install and run Time Doctor for the duration of each shift
