Position: Part time or full time Virtual Accounting Assistant

Essential Management a UK based company operates within the property and hospitality sector. With an existing Philippines based team we are now seeking another remember to add to the accounts team. The team uses Xero and the role will involve a multitude of tasks from sales and purchase ledger work, reconciliation to collections and some compliance related activity
Requirements for Job
• Familiar and comfortable with online apps whether desk top or mobile
• Past or current experience in an accounts department
• Comfortable with speaking with people by phone, messaging apps or written
• Experience with Microsoft Office or equivalent and Google sheets
• Familiarity with Xero essential
• Be a team player
Objectives:
1. To provide support to the Accounts personal and Directors around areas of accounting administration
2. To take on the collection of the sales ledger and present weekly reports with accounting colleagues
3. To deliver tasks, projects in a timely and professional manner
Activities:
1. Daily, weekly or monthly book keeping related activities using Xero (40%)
1.1. Assist in track and record all income relating to all business transactions
1.2. Assist, track and record all expenditure relating to all property transactions
1.3. Assist in preparation of monthly P & L, cash flow statements for individual properties or for groups of properties or businesses
1.4. To present any reports on a timely basis related to the above
2. Daily weekly or monthly sales and purchase ledger activities using Xero (35%)
2.1. Track and record all income related balances for all transactions
2.2. Collect any outstanding payments from Renters and On line partners
2.3. Assist in tracking and record all sales or purchase transactions and reconcile with bank
2.4. Assist in preparation of monthly P & L and Balance Sheet statements
2.5. To present any reports on a timely basis related to the above
3. General Administration to support compliance activities (25%)
3.1. Provide general administrative services related to repetitive requirements
3.2. Assist in adhoc internal audits for accounting and non accounting activities
3.3. Support tea
