Senior ReactJS Engineer

We are a fully funded startup looking for engineers to grow our existing platform into a new and exciting space. We have an established platform operating nationwide within Australia in the transport industry and with our recent round of funding have plans to expand our usage globally through a software-as-a-service ---------- parallel to our leading software we have a unique business model proposal that will disrupt our sector.

You will be joining an existing talented and driven team who are looking to expand our system into an industry first, world class solution.

You will be joining an established team which brings a wealth of experience consisting of seasoned industry professionals, expansion specialists and technical leaders who have worked in some of the biggest and most innovative tech firms and global corporations.

Location
Our head office is located in Sydney Australia with a remote work policy in place enabling us to look overseas for talented engineers - which could be you!


About the role
We are looking for a Senior ReactJS Javascript Engineer to join our team and grow our platform to a global market leading position. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of our products and also get involved in the direction of feature development.

This role is for you if:
- You have a track record of developing and delivering ReactJS projects
- You enjoy working closely with our UX/UI team and our wider engineering team
- A desire to deliver engineering solutions of a high standard
- You love Code Reviews and have a passion for adopting best practices
- Love to create and maintain technical design documents
- Have experience with Lean methodologies and are an advocate for keeping things simple
- You like to improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- You write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability.
- Understand the SOLID design principles

Skills and Experience
- 4+ years Javascript experience
- 2+ years experience in ReactJS
- Worked with version control systems such as GitHub and Jira / Trello for collaboration

Bonus Experience
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience working with React Native
