Facade Designer

We are looking for an experienced and competent Facade Designer to be part of dynamic team providing high quality work in all aspects of Aluminum and Glazing structures throughout Sydney market.

You will be required
Reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings and specifications
Providing submission of shop drawings using AutoCAD (2D/3D) accurately and on time
Communicating with clients and internal stakeholders
Drafting on residential or commercial high rise windows/facades in Sydney market
Ad hoc duties

Ideally you will have:
Local experienced within commercial façade / windows environments (overseas experience will also be considered provided you are familiar with Australian standards)
Demonstrated understanding of products, design and production processes within commercial cladding and curtain wall
Experienced and competent with AutoCAD 2D & 3D
Experienced with the design and documentation of aluminium, glass, steel and composite panels.
A strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines with minimum supervision
Well organised with a high attention to detail
Ability to work cohesively with other design member and Project Managers
