JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a website to be created that is very similar in style (graphically/design) and in functionality/features as www.kickstarter.com and www.indiegogo.com

Please visit the above sites first to get an understanding of the features we require and the style of design we are looking for.

I would like the system to work with paypal and credit card for payments.

Registered members would purchase credits which can be applied to projects as they wish. The same as Kickstarter.com the projects are listed by members looking for investment. They set a budget and members of the site can offer investments into the project.

The difference is rather than just pure funding, this site gives the members the chance to INVEST in the project, so their payment is in exchange for a number of shares in the project. (For example, if a project had a total budget target or $1000, if someone invested $500 they would receive 50% of the available shares for that project)

We want the payment options to provide credits to the members which they can use to fund their investments on the site.

The site should also enable successful projects to have a mini-blog, which keeps backers of the projects up to date with the progress of the project they invested in after it is completed.

The project must obviously have his own control panel.

The site should also have widgets which people can embed on their websites to advertise the funding of their project, similar to those on chipin.com.

A strong administration back-end would be essential, and a system where proposed projects can be checked before being passed, to determine whether they are accepted or not.

The administration part should also have effective dashboards, which gather stats about the sites usage, and the projects.

The site should also be very search engine friendly, and be able to take good advantage of social networking sites for promotion, such as people being able to post the donation widget direct to facebook from their account.

An eye appealing, and user friendly graphical user interface would also be a key priority. The website would also have to be suitably secure, to avoid the theft of funding credits, and to protect private user data!

The site should be able to track the hits each project gets and display that number next to its entry in the list view. (When visitors search for investment opportunities they will see a list of potential opportunities. In this list (similar to kickstarter) you would see a thumbnail image, a brief description but also how "HOT" the opportunity is, based on comments and views)

Each project should allow basic commenting from registered members looking for more information before making an investment offer.

The owner of the project should be also able to comment.

The ability to attach basic files to projects (Such as pdfs etc) should be allowed. (So the project owner could add a PDF with more info on the opportunity)

Code should be high standard and FULLY bug tested and reliable in all current browsers likely to be used.

It should also be VERY secure to stop hijacking of credits etc and members details.

The design of the site needs to be similar to indiegogo.com, web2.0, fresh, clean and easy and approachable. (And high quality)

Only high quality work will be accepted.

We will only work with honest people who will stick to deadlines and are reliable and provide excellent communication.

This is an INCREDIBLE opportunity for monthly and weekly ongoing work if you provide a good service and great outcome for this project.

We look forward to hearing from you.
