Type of Work / Responsibilities

Primarily encoding work. We have documents which come into the company and file them a certain way in software we use called 'Evernote.' The employee reviews the supplied document, and based on the content, will title the 'note' a particular way. Typically the title is going to look like ' ---------- The UPS Store $10.00 9556' - this would be for a receipt dated ' ---------- ' and the vendor is 'The UPS Store', the charge was $10.00, and the credit card last-4 digits used to make the purchase is ---------- --
Wages / Hourly Rate

Since it is straight encoding we are offing 15,000PHP/160 = $1.65USD/hr to start. You will be paid in U.S. Dollars. We're more than willing to increase the rate if the person is able to handle more complicated tasks and/or has more advanced skills that are needed.

Time Tracking

The employee will simply clock in and clock out of our time tracking program - very easy. We know whether the work is getting done and know what is a fair amount for a day's work.
We don't use a screen tracking program as found with Upwork as we feel that it breeds a sense of distrust.

Working Hours

All of this work can be done in PHST, with the exception of a couple of hours of paid training that will be in US time.

Pay Cycle

We pay weekly to start and then will move to bi-weekly to fit in the rhythm of our payroll cycles (1st and 15th).

Holidays

We honor the 13th month, prorated to the number of months working with us (we establish a monthly average based off of history).
We allow time off for regular holidays, special non-working holidays - these are non-paid (as non-full-time employee) as they get paid for the hours they work.
