Hiring An Experienced Editor/Content Manager For A Beauty Site

We are hiring an experienced editor and writer for a beauty site that covers, makeup, skincare, hair, and nails.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of professional writing experience.
- 1+ years of managing a team.
- Fast + stable internet connection.
- Exceptional writing quality. Should be able to write like a native English speaker and be familiar with the nuances of American English.
- High attention to detail. You will do the final edit before publishing so the content must be polished upon submission.
- Understanding of on-page SEO.
- Passion or experience in the beauty niche is preferred.

Job Description:

- You will be reviewing and editing articles submitted by our writing team. You will need to do a basic proofread, but also be capable of rephrasing, removing fluff, and editing for an overall improved reader experience.
- You will be overseeing the writing team. You will keep track in a spreadsheet the content and word count turned in by each tea ---------- mber and will monitor overall quality. You will also give feedback and coaching to the writers to help them improve their content.
- In addition to the writing team, you will collaborate with both the formatting team and SEO strategist to ensure the articles move through the content process in a timely manner.
- You will assist in onboarding new members of the writing team.
- You will write assigned articles for publishing as time allows.
