Full Time Bookkeeper / Accountant (USA)

Ecom CFO is seeking an experienced bookkeeper / accountant to join our remote team providing outsourced financial and accounting services to a fast growing list of exciting e-commerce and retail businesses.

As a bookkeeper / accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of timely and accurate accounting services across a portfolio of our client companies. 

You will have the opportunity to develop deep and rewarding relationships with high-growth clients, in exciting new marketplaces.

**What you will do**

- Support the month end, quarter end and year end closes of all client accounts and the provision of their periodic financial statements.
- Maintain accurate and timely provision of client accounting operations: AP, AR, Cash Management, Payroll, Tax, Inventory Control and general accounting.
- Ensure the creation, maintenance, and execution of any necessary periodic accrual or other journal entries as required for the management of depreciation, amortization, pre-payments, payroll, taxes, insurance or other adjustments.
- Liaise with clients to resolve accounting questions and ad-hoc queries and requests, and to ensure your team has timely access to the information they need.

**Requirements:**

- Quickbooks Pro Advisor Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

**Preferences:**

- 2+ years experience in accounting
- E-commerce and manufacturing accounting experience is preferred
- Familiarity with inventory accounting processes and best practice
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting expertise
