Talented vector illustrator / designer wanted to create evil Monsters (Head only) and labels to go on ejuice bottles.

We have a premium e-liquid company ready to launch, but we've changed our minds on the labels / "monster" designs. Our company is called Monster Juices - we sell premium e-juices to the UK market. We're aiming to target advanced vapers who use devices like RDA's and high powered mods / mech mods. We are selling a premium brand so the labels and designs need to really look amazing to stand out on the shelf.

Here's our first bottle mockup with a clown design ... we do really like this but if we can get 1 designer to make 3 awesome monsters and re-design this clown if you can't get the style the same. If you can match the style then that's perfect! We are on a tight schedule. Ideally we'd like to keep the clown, we can send you the AI file so you can adjust the colours and make changes (right now the colours are all wrong in the hair)

As you can see from the bottle we just need heads of monsters. Clown, Zombie and possibly an ice cream cone waffle with eyes where the ice cream would be... some ideas:

Just remember we are using WHITE bottles and don't want to overcrowd the space. We want the monster to stand out, also the name of the monster will need to go on the bottle..

The designs will be printed on matt white labels and going on white matt glass dropper bottles. Like this

Eventually we will put them in tubes as well so have even more space for the design and then just have something different on the bottle.

Please design the monsters with the labels for the bottles in mind as that's what we need from you as the end product - 3 labels with the monsters on. The dimensions for the 30ml bottle labels are: 100mmx45mm TBC This will ensure they wrap around the bottle fully without overlapping.

We want it to look like the design is printed onto the white bottle so no designs that cut off at the border of the label or it'll break the illusion.

We want the Monsters to be as BIG as possible wrapping around the bottle like http://www.anmlvapors.com our target competition, but WITHOUT any background image or colour. Just white, maybe with some bright gore pieces flying off or something creative, maybe a minimalist pattern like some pink circles for the doughnut flavour, you know that kinda thing. As long as the design does not touch the edge of the label.

We like the idea of minimalism. We may just give the monsters numbers. Like Monster Juices (logo) then underneath case 001, case 002, case 003.

If you check out our website, you'll see the marketing approach we've gone for. The idea is that they've escaped some x-files secret lab and now they are out in the wild.

http://monsterjuices.co.uk/ You can see our logo there and we were going to use it as a monster but it's not fitting with the clown. So right now we're using them as placeholders. The website is not finished either, it will go live in 2 weeks when our e-juice goes on sale.

I'll supply the content such as warnings and nicotine levels etc for the bottles, to give you an idea this is the amount of content we need to put on to the back of the bottle (edge of the label) warnings, ingredients etc. All of this will be confirmed anyway once we pick the right person for the job.

We only have two nicotine strengths and two sizes. The strengths will be ticked by pen at the factory.

The three monsters should have 3 distinctly different / unique colour palettes, to show the flavour of the juice. If you're a good designer you should know what palettes work together and which don't.

Also experience in PRINT is NECESSARY as RGB looks great on screen but getting it right for CMYK without it looking dull can be tricky for a digital designer.

THE BRIEF:

One in mainly Yellow / Gold with other colours of course that complement it. This will be for caramel ice cream waffle. Maybe a zombie style monster

One in mainly Pink / Red as this is for a strawberry glazed doughnut flavour. - Maybe some evil ice-creme cone style monster with the ice-cream scoops as eyes.

One in mainly a mix of bright colours as it will be cereal flavoured like fruit loops, OR it may be apple cinnamon cereal in which case green but green is not an attractive colour for vaping labels.
This can be the Clown - which you can re-design.

To give you an idea of the style we want I've linked the clown one which we really like. We really want to keep this one so if you could just re-design in so it matches with the rest of the monsters in your style that would be great.

The clown is the exact style we're going for, really evil looking but with bright neon colours and gore!

Bear in mind that the customer will be around 1.5 metres away from the bottles so they can't or don't have to be too complex. They need to grab attention.

The bottles are 30ml and 15ml so we may need to change the design for the 15ml bottles. Then in a few months we'll need to do tubes and 10ml bottles inside due to the uk law changing.

The label sizes are.. 30ml 100mmx45mm and 15ml will be confirmed.

We really are looking for a highly talented illustrator who can design digital vector art. If you can only do the monsters, that's fine, we can do the labels! Our top priority is someone who's very creative who can deliver the style we need.

Ongoing work possible for marketing materials. Posters, taste cards, packaging, POS , t-shirts, merch. Website banners, social media marketing, etc.
