Our company is looking for an educational, inspirational and entertaining content writer to help plan, strategize and develop content within our existing team. Our ideal candidate has demonstrable creative writing skills. Skills in content planning and development provide additional benefits. We are looking for anyone who has experience with media sales and marketing copy creation and graphic design tools. Ultimately, you need to participate in all documented content initiatives to ensure brand awareness, inbound lead generation and thought leadership brand consistency.


Responsibilities:

- Plan, strategize, and develop a monthly content calendar to align with your company's content targets.
- Plan and develop content in collaboration with the sales, marketing, and design teams
- Create compelling promotional content to for Untangled Media Clients
- Edit, proofread, and improve existing content.
- Work with external content providers and clients to perform paid content packages and guest posts.
- Optimize content for search engine optimization. (SEO)
- Optimize content according to pillar content and topic clusters.
- Keep up with the latest in the field and generate new ideas to get your audience's attention..


Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a content writer
- Experience with image creation tools such as Photoshop
- Experience with Content Management Systems, and MS Office / Google Docs.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Social media savvy
- Excellent writing ability in English
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or equivalent is not required, but would be useful.
