Tutor Needed

Hello, I have a son who is 16 years old. He has been diagnosed as autistic, but what he really struggles with is focus. He has fallen behind in his schooling and has more homework weekly while he has a few dozen assignments that he hasn't started or completed.

If you completed secondary education, or you started or completed college, this should be a very easy assignment for you.
We have access to homework assignments online and also email access to his teachers.

I have a Zoom account and you can access at any time to communicate with my son. He is a good kid, but really needs someone to help him stay on task. There will be times when the subject is a challenge, like a writing assignment, and your own success in academics will prove to be helpful.

My hope for my son is that he will develop the mental muscle of starting and completing homework on his own. As he is in 10th grade, or the last year of lower secondary education in the Philippines, his grades matter. I feel that having regular contact with someone to help him stay on track to d ---------- what homework to do and to stay on course to complete it, would be an immense help. I recommend that you be free Monday through Saturday for 2-3 hours each day. Due to where we live and time differences (we are -10 GMT) My son will get home from school around 10/10:30am your time.

I don't feel we need a teacher or educator for this job, as much as someone who is patient, who can be consistent with their time and efforts through the ---------- would help to care about people to excel in this task.

While school will take breaks for Christmas and the summer, there is a program called IXL that can be used to assess and build skills for my son during breaks from homework. When he's all caught up with homework, this is also an option for an hour a day or so, so he stays sharp.

Do not be afraid to apply if you don't have a lengthy resume. I am looking for an enthusiastic individual who can patiently help my son do his work. Please let me know why you would be a good match as a tutor for my son. A reliable internet connection and access to a laptop or something that will allow you to see my son and his screen (for computer based or online homework) would be preferred for applicants.

For myself, I have over 15 years of experience working with freelancers and contractors. While my son is still learning thankfulness and gratitude, I am a very grateful person. I am easy to work with and communicate with. I use whatsapp as it gets to my phone and stands out the most.
