JOB OVERVIEW

OatLabs is looking for applicants to fill the position of “Events Researcher” for up to 5 hours per week.

OatLabs runs a network of parenting and local focused websites based in cities in Australia, the UK, and the USA. Event Researchers are required to research, curate, and list events that may be of interest to our readers.

We are looking for people who can complete work independently and reliably each week, with excellent spelling and grammar in the English language.

Pay is 200 PHP per hour. Hours are flexible, however the work must be reliably completed each week. More hours are available for applicants who can reliably produce quality work.

To apply visit our remote work management website ---------- , and click on the “apply” link on the home page.

As part of your application include 3 events suitable for families with young children (under 10) who live in Sydney, Australia.

Each event description should include a title, a short description of no more than 100 words, the date(s) on which the event will occur, and costs involved, and a link for anyone who is interested to find out more. An example is below:

Sydney Street Parade
The city of Sydney will be hosting a street parade to celebrate the Chinese new year. There will be floats, a food market, as well as music and performers to keep the children entertained. Everyone is welcome.
Cost: Free
Date: 1st of February, 2022, 7pm to 10pm
URL: ---------- /chinese-new-year/

Submit your 3 chosen events in the “comments” section of the Entropy application form.

Do not use marketing language in your event descriptions. The aim is to provide useful information rather than trying to convince someone to attend the event.

When linking to an event, try to find the actual event website, rather than an event compilation site or Facebook.

Applicants will also be required to promote the events they curate on Facebook pages, and so will require a working Facebook account.

We look forward to reviewing your application and welcoming you to the OatLabs team. Good luck!
