Full Time Senior eCommerce Bookkeeper

Tall Oak Advisors is seeking a highly experienced Full-Time Senior Bookkeeper in the eCommerce industry to join our team!

We are a startup Bookkeeping and CFO Advisory service looking to build a team of Filipino Bookkeepers to support our US-based team. Our goal is to be one of the leaders in the eCommerce industry for financials, and we want you to be part of the growth!

We are looking for someone that thrives on responsibility and is driven for ---------- the beginning, you will be required to complete day-to-day bookkeeping for clients. As we grow, you will become the lead bookkeeper that will ensure the rest of our team is doing an excellent job.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Must get excited about finances and accounting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related industry.
- 5 years of experience working with Quickbooks. Experience with Xero is a plus.
- 3 years of experience in eCommerce bookkeeping and accounting
- 2 years of management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. English with clients, and Tagalog / English with Filipino workers.
- Experience with Inventory based businesses and US Sales Tax. Experience with VAT and other various taxes is a plus.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Exclusive to Tall Oak Advisors No outside clients.

- Professional Camera and Microphone for Zoom Calls with Clients

NICE TO HAVES:

- Ability to complete controller tasks such as bill pay, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll is a plus.
- Experience handling Amazon or 3PL reimbursements
- Experience using A2X
- Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor
- Certified Public Accountant
- Strong Excel Skills
- Working knowledge of online tools such as dropbox, google drive, slack, clickup, and financial ---------- ITIAL JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monthly reconciliation of Amazon statements (orders, refunds, fees, etc.) for our clients.
- Monthly bookkeeping for our clients.
- Month-end closing and year-end closing including posting journal entries, and reconciliation of account balances and general ledger accounts for our clients.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data; develop and run regular financial statements including cash flow, P&L, income statements, and balance sheets.
- Onboard new clients: communicating with them via Zoom and email, integrating accounts, and collecting necessary information.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly sales tax returns for clients.
- Clean up messy, incorrect, and unreconciled books for clients.

AS OUR TEAM GROWS, YOUR JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL CHANGE:

- Management of our Filipino Bookkeeping team.
- Provide training and coaching to our Filipino Bookkeeping team.
- Perform managerial reviews of our client's books completed by our Filipino Bookkeeping team.
- Help recruit, interview, and hire future members of the Filipino Bookkeeping team.
- Strive for continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Update and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed, and roll out to the team for consistent ---------- PENSATION AND HOURS

The standard shift is 7am-3pm Philippine Standard Time Tuesday - Saturday. Our US based team is in the Eastern Time Zone.

Starting Pay: 80,000 to 100,000 Philippine Pesos Per Month
