Website Builder, Developer & Content Manager

Speak Your Truth ( ---------- ) are a marketing consultancy agency based out of Brisbane, Australia entering a period of national growth and currently bringing a number of key specialised staff on in full time, part time and freelance roles.

One of these roles is a Website Builder, Developer & Content ---------- pable of managing a range of clients and projects, skill sets required:

• Ability to work across all major CMS platforms. Take note that you’ll be handling websites NOT ONLY on WordPress or Squarespace
• Requires building websites from scratch (coding, design, marketing, SEO etc) AS WELL AS maintaining, redesigning and OPTIMISING already built websites.
• You should be able to build from sophisticate, complex to simple websites and fluent with several website building languages including HTML, PHP, MySQL, Joomlah, PSD. Also, experience in building E-commerce platforms like Shopify is a must
• Ability to not just build and maintain but also DESIGN - using your chosen design software (e.g., Photoshop/Creative Cloud apps) - will be considered a HUGE PLUS
• Regularly update a number of websites with provided content and manage the design and any programming considerations to do with this regular updating.
• Basic marketing skills associated with the website build a necessary ---------- te that we will need to see a portfolio or hear how you do it please note you will be required to show and tell in an interview how you do this.
• Website production, creation, routine maintenance, and management: from page layouts, content edits, image optimization, search engine optimization tasks, and performance monitoring
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-tasking, while staying organized and maintaining high attention to detail
• Ability to resolve site problems quickly and efficiently
• Someone who is not just extremely capable tech-wise but is intuitive, intelligent and can work autonomously to suit a creative brief.
• Lastly - you will need to be available at least 4 days a week with exceptional written and spoken English and OUTSTANDING communication skills

Minimum Requirements:

- Strong and highly creative portfolio.
- High level of integrity, work ethic, autonomy, professionalism and self-motivation
- Maintains excellent writing and language skills - as above, clear and timely communication is a MUST
- Experience creating conversion-driven websites and landing pages for small businesses
- Extensive Knowledge & experience in SEO & SCO best practices a must
- Copy writing skills a huge bonus
- Portfolio or examples of website development/design/builds
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles and strategies
- Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly (if the client provides).

Starting payment will be $10 AUD per hour but this is a starting rate only. For the right person pay will rise directly in accordance with a proven track record of good work. A number of payment bonuses will also be offered based upon exceptional work.

This is a freelance role starting at approximately 20 hours per week but for the right person will be an ongoing role for years with a view to it becoming a full tie role within 12 months.
