POSITION TYPE: Full-time (8 hrs a day).

TIME ZONE: You would be expected to make yourself available from 11am to 7pm Manila time.

DAILY REPORTING: You will be required to send a bullet-list email at the end of each day.

YOUR COMPENSATION: Negotiable based on your relevant experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
— Review bug reports submitted by other tea ---------- mbers and identify what needs to be done to fix them
— Review new tasks before they are handed down to coders to ensure that the tasks will improve user experience when implemented
— Discuss new tasks with coders to ensure the coder understands the task and how to implement it
— Create and run tests to identify problems in our software
— Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
— Document results of tests for the software development team
— Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
— Contribute to writing documentation for our Wiki to reflect the information new coders would need to know to successfully join our webdev team
— Otherwise assist the lead developer in matters relating to QA, coder collaboration, and software testing
— Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements

NICE-TO-HAVES:
— Know and understand our existing codebases to be able to answer questions from coders relating to their tasks and helping them navigate our code

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
— Extensive experience in software development and testing
— High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages
— Strong knowledge of Linux
— In-depth understanding of PHP, JavaScript, HTML
— Exceptional attention to detail
— Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
— Good oral and written communication skills
