Product Research/Supplier Expert

Hey! 80Twenty Capital is looking for a Product Research/Supplier Expert to join an International eCommerce Company.

We are searching for an individual who can take our business to the next level through excellent implementation of product and supplier research processes.

Role/Responsibilities:

-Identify products for eCommerce sales channels aligned with current portfolio of brands using data-driven analysis such as Helium10, JungleScout, and competitor research
-Source products from China, USA, and other regions as a result of product research
-Research and identify initial product enhancements and opportunities to launch a higher quality product than what is commercially available
-Communicate and negotiate with prospective suppliers from “getting a sample” stage to initial production
-Be a cross-functional tea ---------- mber across the team and communicate to various division regarding product-related discussion
-Deliver concise research reports showing the results of product research, product enhancement, and supplier research

Requirements:

-Minimum of 3 years of experience in product lifecycle management
-3-5 years of experience in eCommerce, preferred
-Strong understanding of product cost, shipping cost, and profitability
-Strong experience with supplier/vendor communication and negotiation
-Detail-oriented and a team player

Schedule and Compensation:

-$5.00 - $6.50/hr based on experience
-Flexible schedule
-100% remote
-Part-time and full-time available
