Experienced ads, email and social media copywriter

Are you our next experienced copywriter?

We are an Australian hospitality marketing agency who works with restaurants and cafes to do their marketing.

We are looking for someone who is very experienced and confident writing ad copy, email copy, and social media posts on behalf of our ---------- 's important to note that we DO NOT write anything in a marketing or salesy tone - we do not sell e-commerce products or do direct response copy.

For the experienced writer this is a dream job!

You will be writing in a first person tone on behalf of the owners and speaking in a conversational manner to build relationships and connect with the audience in fluent English with humour, vulnerability and reliability.

You will always have access to the clients previous writing and style, websites and social media pages, and briefs from the client account managers about the style to implement on behalf of the client + you'll have templates we have used in the past (and be involved in creating them for future)

You will also often be taking voice memos and screen share videos from the CEO and transcribing them or turning the points given into copy too

This role is currently part time (with a view to full time in future) and will require you to...

- Work either 9am - 1pm OR 1pm-5pm AEST Weekdays (you choose one that suits you)
- Be reliable and punctual on the days you are working
- Have a great computer and stable fast internet connection (if you live in an area where blackouts are common you must have a backup)
- Communicate openly with our marketing and ads team on Slack and be present for questions in the hours you are working
- Be fluent in conversational and written English - our clients are 99% Australian
- Have experience and results with ads, emails and social media posts
